As you’ve probably guessed, my name is Claire, and I’ve been a baker and pastry chef for over ten years. 

I studied in New York, ran a bakery in Spain, worked in a steak house in Toronto, a cute little vegan cafe on the West Coast, and a BBQ restaurant in Tallinn.

Needless to say, I’ve done a lot of baking. Cakes, bread, tarts, pies, you name it.

After leaving Canada during the 2020 pandemic, I decided to start sharing some of my favorite recipes online. Baking (and cooking) has always been my favorite way to spend a free weekend, so I have plenty of recipes under my belt.

And that little hobby blog has suddenly become a huge passion with readers all over the world.

I’m so lucky to have people making and sharing my recipes from the Philippines to Australia!

I strive to offer easy-to-follow recipes with as little “fluff” as possible. I know you don’t want to read about how my grandma used to bake. You just want the recipe!

Of course, I also try to include a few tips. And I have a lot after all these years..
